With cozy seating, entertainment options, a full kitchen, and scenic views of the creek, the Cosmic Cafe is the perfect spot to host special events. Here, you can unwind by the fireplace, catch up on your favorite shows, play a game of pool or connect with old friends and new friends—all while enjoying complimentary high speed internet access. The Café is available for rent and can be packaged with other cabins to create your dream events.

At the heart of our reception space, The Cosmic Café offers a warm and welcoming setting for gatherings both intimate and grand. With comfortable seating for up to 50 guests indoors and on the covered patio, we can accomodate up to 200 guests with additional tables and chairs, extending into the surrounding meadows, beneath the open sky. Whether you're hosting a wedding reception, a lively summer camp, or a cozy gathering by the fire, the Cosmic Café is a space designed for connection, comfort, and celebration.

During the week, the café serves as a gathering space for guests and campers, open Monday through Thursday, with hours posted on-site. On weekends, the space is typically reserved for private events.

The café features two covered patio areas for relaxing and gathering. Out back, a spacious covered patio doubles as a dance floor, perfect for celebrations under the stars. Along the creekside, you’ll find another covered patio with three sets of Adirondack chairs, a perfect spot for morning coffee, quiet conversations, or taking in the sounds of nature.

We have a six burner BBQ grill that is available for campers and event guests. Whether you're grilling up a feast for a reception or just making a casual meal, this outdoor option adds to the charm of the space.

Covered Patio

The fully equipped kitchen makes hosting events and receptions a breeze. It includes everything you need for preparing meals, serving guests, or coordinating with caterers. The kitchen is available for private event rentals or for light cooking by campers upon request.

Game Room

The café is a cozy gathering space meant for connection, relaxation, and a little friendly fun. Enjoy a game of ping pong, pool, giant Scrabble, checkers, or Jenga in a welcoming environment designed to bring people together.

When it's not reserved for private events, the Cosmic Café also serves as a community gathering space for our travelers and guests. It’s a game room, an internet café, and a cozy place to unwind—with ping pong, pool, giant Scrabble, oversized checkers, and giant Jenga available for a little friendly fun. We ask that all guests respect the space, clean up after themselves, and honor private event reservations so that everyone can enjoy the café's welcoming atmosphere.

Rent the cafe

Rent the Cosmic Café for your event and have an additional event space equip with a full kitchen, bathrooms, lounge area, and games.

The café comfortably seats up to 50 guests inside and outside. For grander affairs, we can accommodate up to 150 guests with additional tables, ensuring that all your loved ones can join in the festivities.

  • WHAT A GREAT PLACE FOR A BIG FAMILY

    Everything was kid friendly and practical for a bunch of kids. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms have everything you might need. There are sound machines, earplugs, a small Bluetooth speaker for a dance party and everything you need to have a fun family get together.

    It’s a bit of a drive from the Redwoods and the Ocean. You really could spend all of your time at this home. There is plenty of space for a baseball game, and all the included outside games that are provided. It is the best supplied and most practical place I have rented for a large family getaway. We all loved it and had a great time.

    Beth put a lot of thought and heart into making the cabin cosy and welcoming. It has everything you need, and more, all in perfect order and spotless clean. My teenage girls absolutely loved the stay! We wished we could stay longer!

    She went above and beyond to make our entire family feel welcome. We had a family reunion, so pretty much all cabins and beds were occupied. Each cabin was thoughtfully decorated and had all the conveniences of home. This is truly a magical place with a very beautiful setting. Beth and Brian were very attentive and on hand for any questions or concerns.

    Great for a large group. Stayed here the night before we went to our wedding venue with a bunch of our bridesmaids/groomsmen/parents. It felt kind of like a hostel which was super fun. Loved that there were several shower rooms and a couple powder rooms separated from the toilets! Overall awesome space.
