MOTHA LOVIN’ SUMMER CAMP
This is Your Invitation
You are being invited to follow me into the forest. Not to attend a retreat, but to help me build a magical village.
In this time when the world feels loud, heavy, and uncertain, I’ve found myself asking the same question so many of us are asking: What can I do to help? And the answer that came back was simple, build community & spread love. Love has always been my medicine. It’s how I lead and it’s how I gather. It’s how I know to serve.
This gathering is my offering to the world in this time of turmoil.
And this is your invitation to join me. Saying yes to this event will give you something beautiful to anchor into. Saying yes will give you something to anticipate. Something that reminds you that joy, connection, and sisterhood are still very much alive in us all.
Because what the world needs right now is a whole lotta love!
❋ The Intention
This gathering is about bringing women together with a clear intention: to gather in sisterhood, build community, and fill our hearts with so much love that we are bursting with joy by the time we head home.
While this is a women-only event, my husband Brian lives here so he gets to be a small part of our event. But he gives us plenty of privacy.
❋ The Vibe
We’ll sing from the heart, dance under the tall trees, mist ourselves in rose water, and anoint ourselves with heart-chakra oils just because it feels good. We’ll move our bodies with yoga, melt into a sound bath, wander the forest for games and fun, do yoga in the meadow, and make art with our hands and hearts, letting joy, beauty, and a little camp magic lead the way!
❋ What This Is
This gathering is a place to come as you are.
A space to soften, relax, and let your heart open naturally. It’s about joy, beauty, play, ritual, good food, laughter, and real connection.
It’s meant to be a reminder of who you are when you’re not trying so hard or holding it all together. Just a few days of being human, together, in a way that feels really, really good.
❋ What This Is Not
This is not a retreat to crack you open or break you down. This is a gathering designed simply to fill you up.
This isn’t about healing circles or unpacking your trauma. This is about joy. Magic. Community. Connection.
There’s no pressure to share, heal, or perform vulnerability. Nothing to unpack. Nothing to prove.
I’m Beth Bogren, and I am blessed to call this land home alongside my husband Brian and our dogs, Daisy and Dolly.
Four years ago, we purchased Whisper Canyon Ranch with a clear vision: to create a space where wild, powerful women could gather. Hosting my annual summer camp has always been at the heart of that dream.
Over the years, our cabin rentals and event venue have flourished. We host weddings, retreats, and reunions throughout the seasons. But summer camp remains non negotiable. It is the one week each year when we come together to fuel our fire, awaken our magic, and revel in the sisterhood that makes this gathering so extraordinary.
Who We Are
Motha Lovin’ Summa Camp isn’t just an event - it’s an intentional commitment. A choice to hold the frequency of love in our hearts and our lives as we move through the months ahead. Knowing that in a few short months we will gather on the land at Whisper Canyon Ranch to fully embody it together.
I’m inviting you to step into this container with me, and with this years community of lady campers who are also embarking on this adventure with you. To commit with your whole heart. To take time off from work, to lock in child care, to begin gathering decor and magical items that you will bring to adorn yourself and your campsite. To prepare in all the ways. To let this gathering inspire you and carry you forward the way it is for me.
This is a new name. A new chapter. A new beginning. And it begins the moment you accept the invitation.
I hope you’ll join me. All my love,
Beth
The Village ❋
This year, we are co-creating the village.
When you say yes, you don’t just attend, you choose how you want to participate.
Some women will step forward to lead.
Some will support.
Some will simply arrive and receive.
All of it belongs.
You might bake bread or make jam.
You might decorate the dining space or help plan the dance party.
You might tend the garden and harvest vegetables for our meals.
You might coordinate a hike or guide a foraging walk.
You might offer readings or bodywork.
You might help hold space in the wellness tent.
Or you might simply show up fully and be part of the energy.
Organized, but flowing. Structured, but organic.

Before camp, we’ll send out a questionnaire where you can share how you’d like to contribute, whether that’s leading a “topic,” supporting a space, or helping behind the scenes.
For example, we may create a Wellness Tent, supported by women who are CPR or first aid certified, nurses, herbalists, or those who want to help hold a grounded, nurturing space with simple remedies and care throughout the week.
Someone may feel called to host the Saturday night dance party or maybe a talent show. They will gather others to help curate music, decorate the space, and bring it to life.
❋ How It Works
Every village is held together by people who choose to offer what they can, sharing food, care, beauty, creativity, learning, ceremony, and celebration. These are the threads that hold a community up.
As the world shifts and changes, many of us feel the ache for something more human: more connected, more collaborative, more rooted in belonging.
Over the next few months, we’ll prepare for this together, imagining, coordinating, and experimenting with what it means to build a village. That’s why it matters to declare your intention early: the moment you say yes, you become part of the build. And then, for five days, we get to live inside what we create.
❋ How We Gather
Nourishment: catered meals shared around long tables, plus women tending the beauty of the space
Care & Wellness: first aid + grounded support, herbal remedies, massage, energy work
Personal Beauty: braids, trims, adornment… maybe even a tattoo
Learning: workshops, skills, conversations led by women who feel called
❋ Our Village Includes:
Creativity & Recreation: art, music, dance, play, oy as essential infrastructure
Exchange: book swap (banned books encouraged), clothing exchange, makers market
Ritual: ceremony + meaning, shared moments that root us
Stewardship: the behind-the-scenes tending that keeps the village clean and thriving
❋ Our Village Includes:
01/ The Food
All meals will be lovingly catered by Sugar Pine Dine, led by local chef and food lover Carrie Catterall. Carrie offers rustic, seasonal fare with local produce that are nourishing and deeply satisfying.
This year, we’re also weaving in a shared community snack table, an ever-present spread of teas, treats, and snacks that adds to the feeling of abundance, connection, and camp magic throughout the weekend.
02/ Poolside Soundbath
One evening we’ll gather around the pool for a enchanting sound bath under the open sky. As the sound of singing bowls and chimes move through the air, you’ll be invited to fully relax and receive.
A limited number of women will have the option to float gently in the pool for an immersive experience.
This will be a soft, sensory, deeply calming experience, one of those moments where time slows and you can just be.
03/ Mercantile
Located inside the Beehive Lodge, our ranch mercantile is stocked with all the fun and essentials you might need during your stay.
We carry snacks, cold drinks and ice cream, along with gifts, jewelry, and thoughtfully curated treasures you didn’t know you needed but won’t want to leave without.
And if you’re looking for something specific that we don’t carry, the closest store is just ten minutes away.
We are not meant to do life alone. Community is something we practice by showing up, sitting at the table, and choosing to gather. If your heart has been quietly asking for connection and rest, this may be the answer. We’ll be waiting for you with rose water, music, open arms, and a place at the table.

At camp, we participate as a circle. We show up for shared moments and group activities.
We put our phones away, so we are present and not distracted.
We agree to try the activities, join the circle, offer help when help is needed, and remember that the magic happens when we all show up.
Participation - not perfection - is how we build sisterhood here.
We care for one another, the land, and our shared spaces, knowing that how we tend this container impacts everyone’s experience. Curiosity is encouraged, self care is honored, consent is always respected, and connection is the thread that connects us all.
Quiet hours are respected, rest is imperative and snorers will be lovingly relocated if needed.
Above all, bring your open heart, your sense of humor, and your willingness to jump in.
Camp magic works best when everyone joins in.

In this new era of summa camp, we’re intentionally shifting away from substances that cloud us and are moving toward presence and connection. This is a sober-friendly, presence-first gathering that supports women who are sober, sober-curious, or simply wanting a different kind of experience.
Daytime activities will be substance-free, and we ask that tobacco smoking is kept minimal so it doesn’t shape the group energy. There will be a designated space tucked away from the group activities available.
In the evenings, those who choose to have a drink or use cannabis are welcome to do so intentionally and respectfully and without clear intoxication, as this is not that kind of party. We also would like to encourage you to experience this event sober if at all possible. Tea, coffee, and beverages will be plentiful, because connection and presence, not substances, are the main event.
Thank you in advance for respecting these boundaries as we grow!
PRACTITIONERS THIS YEAR
Calling In Aligned Practitioners
We love to support your art!
If you are a practitioner who feels inspired by Motha Lovin’ Summa Camp and would love to offer your services during the weekend, here’s what you need to know:
We welcome practitioners who genuinely want to participate in the event, not simply treat it as a marketplace. This gathering is first and foremost a heart centered experience. We are looking for women who would attend even if they weren’t offering anything at all.
We’ve found that attendees are far more likely to engage with practitioners they’ve shared meals with, danced alongside, and gotten to know throughout the weekend. It creates a more intimate connection and a more authentic exchange.
For that reason, all practitioners are required to attend the event as participants, which includes purchasing a ticket.
If you feel called to teach a workshop and also offer private sessions, we’re happy to discuss partial exchange options if your offering aligns with the spirit of camp.
This is about community first, offerings second.
If that resonates, we’d love to connect.

About The Land
Each year we gather here at Whisper Canyon Ranch, a private 70 acre guest ranch tucked into the mountains of Southern Oregon’s Illinois Valley.
Beyond a quiet gated entrance lies an enchanted forest of towering trees, winding pathways, starlit skies, and a seasonal creek that moves gently through the land.
We are honored to steward this place and call it home.
We also acknowledge that we are living on the sacred and stolen lands of the Takilma Territory in Southern Oregon. We hold deep respect for this land and ask all who gather here to do the same.
This is a place to reconnect with the earth, with ourselves, and with each other. A place to get curious and to bring a little magic and whimsy into your life. And for one week each summer, it becomes camp.
Are you ready?
Join Us!
There is no better time to gather than when the world feels chaotic and uncertain. It’s easy to get caught up in the overwhelm of it all and to feel depleted. We can’t keep pouring from a drained heart and expect to feel steady or inspired.
It is imperative that we give ourselves time to refill. To step away from the noise and gather in community. This is how we restore ourselves. Through rest, shared meals, laughter, and being together on the land.
We are not meant to do life alone. Community is something we practice by showing up, sitting at the table, and choosing to gather.
If your heart has been quietly asking for connection and rest, this may be the answer.
We’ll be waiting for you with rose water, music, open arms, and a place at the table.
